The project deals with the question of the urban stream and the relation of the cities to its stream that passes through the urban structure.

Lakhish stream that passes in northern border of Qiryat Gat and two of its brooks that crosses the city is an urban stream. Because the city was planned as a part of population distribution in first years of Israeli state, Qiryat Gat plan based on residential structure. Thus, natural resources weren't taken in consideration.

As an Alternative proposal for Qiryat Gat, in this project I try to define to city between the two brooks of the stream by densing the city. The axis of the streams function as natural urban network alongside the streets. The structure of the streams is universal that come from the outside, enters the city and continues further. Against this, a local structure function from one node to another that crosses the universal structure. The project try to examine the relation between the city and the stream and how it defines it.
