Kerem Hateymanim is a neighborhood located in the center of Tel Aviv. The neighborhood, one of the eleven first neighborhoods of Tel Aviv, an intimate place with low-floor houses, built of stone, brick or concrete, arranged around a common courtyard. In most of the neighborhood there is no roads and sidewalks, the narrow alleys are for pedestrians and vehicles together. The Kerem, is an area which is tearing the urban fabric that surrounds it.

On the eastern side of the neighborhood, comes in flavors and atmosphere of the Carmel Market, the market depends on the neighborhood, as did the contrary, the neighborhood is leaning on its existence. From the west, passes Street Hacovshim, which creates a physical and conscious barrier between the Kerem and the sea.

Neighborly relations as reflected in the Kerem are not breaking the boundaries of the neighborhood, and allow it to connect to the surrounding urban fabric. My suggestion is to create an urban space, where the streets that create the barrier meets - from the Kerem, the market, the sea and Allenby Street. I created an urban Square, which is a meeting point, and combines culture, commercial and residential together, to create an urban continuum, linking the sea and the Carmel Market, and contains a variety of textures and cultures, which creating space for a new medium.
