The project is trying to examine our existing physical environment from a critical point of view; question conventional planning perceptions, and wonder whether it is possible to change the way we apprehend space.
The invention of the Internet not only changed the way we live but also changed the way we think. As a result, the way we comprehend reality became much more complex, and there for, our physical environment became to plain for us. The physical space lacks a term which manifested intensively in the virtual space- the term depth. The complexity, the continuity and the “entering inside” as an endless and borderless maze do not reflect in the physical space.
In my project I am offering a critical point of view of our build world and challenging old paradigms which no longer compatible with the way we live our lives. This project asks how to confront the virtual space with the physical space? How can those concepts which define the virtual space, can be manifested in our existing space and create a physical environment which is compatible to the way we comprehend space today? This is a conceptual, experimental project, in which I examine a new language that can change our consciousness way of comprehending space. I am not offering a concrete planning, but opening a door for a new architectural morphology which will represent our lives today.
